Volunteer work is essential to Emruz Festival team. The initiative started and has continued with generous and passionate volunteers who have expanded our ability to host numerous artists in our first edition of Emruz Fest. 

Volunteers are needed in different stages of planning, development, and execution of Emruz Festival. We seek help in administration, project and personnel management, customer service, and community outreach. 

The role of volunteers are essential three months in advance and throughout the execution of Emruz Festival, but beginning/end dates are flexible. On average, a commitment of at least 2-3 days per week is required, but depending on schedules there might be periods that are more or less intense.

Your gift of any size makes a real and meaningful difference, enabling Emruz Festival to:

  • Premiere 10 original multidisciplinary performances at Rattlestick Theatre June 2020

  • Provide, space, time and small stipend to Iranian and Iranian-American artist to develop their work

  • Empower more than 100 young Iranian and Iranian American through planning, developing and running the festival

  • Celebrate Iranian community with 5 day festival of performances and events

  • Contributions cover 90% of the costs of our artistic and community programming, keeping our tickets accessible and affordable and providing resources to Iranian and Iranian-American artist and the next generation of performance-based artists.
